- The South Texas Veterans Health Care System, Audie L. Murphy Division, intends to enter into a sole source loaner agreement with Midas Rex LP Medtronic PS for a Legend EHS Kit system. This system consists of one (1) each of the following: EM100 - Legend EHS Motor, EC100 - Legend Ehs Control Console, EF100 - Legend EHS Motor Cable, EA200 - Legend EHS Foot Control Cable, PA120 - Legend Attachment Lubrication Nozzle, PA300 - Legend 1.2mm Cleaning Brush(1/32"), PA310 - Legend 2.4mm Cleaning Brush (3/32"), PA320 - Legend 3.2mm Cleaning Brush (1/8"), PA400 - Legend Inst Case Kit 3/4 Din 175003EN - Legend EHS Manual ? English, 175011EN -Legend EHS Pm Manual ?English, to include accessories: Ea600 - Legend EHS Power Cable - Us AS08 - Legend Str Attach 8cm (B), AS09s -Legend 9cm Str Attach Short, AS14s ? Legend, 14cm Str Attach Short, AA10 - Legend Angled Attach, 9cm (9st) AF02 - Legend Foot Attach 2.4mm (B-1), At03 - Legend Foot Attch 3.2mm (S),AD01 - Legend Perf Driver,Attach At10 -Legend Tele Attach #1,TT12a - Legend Telescoping Angled Tube. Midas Rex LP is believed to be the only provider of this type of surgical system with these specifications and capabilities. Midas Rex will provide the above system at no charge with the understanding all Midas Rex tools and blades are purchased with a 15% discount off the equity price list from Midas Rex. After initial one year equipment warranty, the government will assume repair responsibility with a 5% discount on actual repair cost and will not exceed $3500.00. Replacement motors will be provided by Midas Rex, FOB origin, in the event of existing equipment failure. Ownership of system will remain with Medtronic Powered Surgical Solutions. This agreement will be in effect for one year with (2) additional one year options for renewal. Either party may terminate agreement at any time with a 60 written notice. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the above requirements must give written notification to the Contracting Officer within ten days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Determination based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no valid responses are received, the South Texas Veterans Health Care System will proceed with the loaner agreement.
