- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Acquisition Operations Service in Washington, DC intends to procure a replacement telephone system comprising a complete digital/analog voice telephone Private Branch Exchange (PBX) with Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) for the VA Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH. The work includes furnishing and installing an NEC 2400 IPX telecommunication system to include telephone switch, automatic call distribution, and voice over internet protocol capabilities. Call detail reporting shall also be provided. Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) functions must be supported for both trunks and end user devices. An existing Voice Mail/Auto Attendant will be reused by moving the system from one VA site to the Cincinnati site. An existing IVR, which is a Mumps Audiofax, will be reused and interfaced to the new PBX. The necessary interfaces, to include hardware and software, to support wireless functionality shall be provided. This procurement is set-aside for competition among service-disabled veteran-owned small business firms. The Cincinnati VAMC has set-aside March 7, 2006 and March 8, 2006 as days for site visits.
