- Provide Milk and Milk products on an on-demand, as-needed basis, for the VA Medical Centers at Minneapolis and St. Cloud, Minnesota for the base period of April 1, 2006 through March 31, 2007 with a one year option. All qualified offers are invited to provide their quotation. Offers, including options, shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable pricing, technical competency, and satisfactory past performance. The Government anticipates award of a commercial item contract to the offeror whose offer provides the best value to the Government. Award will be made utilizing the Simplified Acquisitions Procedures outlined in FAR subpart 13.5, and a combination of FAR part 12, 13, 15, and 17 award procedures. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards by medical center(s) representing the best value to the Government. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about February 17. 2006 and will be issued via Fed Biz Opps Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Offerors are responsible for checking the web site regularly to obtain amendments. Offers are due March 10, 2006 at 3:30pm CST. Questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing. Quotations must be submitted in writing to the issuing office, be in accordance with the quotation preparation instructions outlined in the solicitation, and be timely. No web based offers will be accepted. The NACIS code assigned to this procurement will be 311511 with a size standard of 500 people.
