- VISN 11 Contract Service Center is soliciting offers to provide landfill facilities for the Department of Veterans Affairs Illiana Health Care System (VAIHCS), Danville, Illinois. Refuse will be delivered by VAIHCS personnel and the use of landfill facilities will be furnished by the contractor. Refuse will be delivered to the landfill approximately six (6) times per week. Typical weight for each load ranges from one (1) to two (2) tons of refuse with an average load weight of approximately 1.4 tons. Anticipated period of performance is one year base period with four (4), one-year renewal periods, at the Government?s discretion. Electronic version and hard copy of solicitation will be available on or about February 23, 2006. Electronic solicitation may be obtained at the following URL: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/cgi-bin/WebObjects/BosPublic.woa. Requests for hard copy solicitation must be in writing to the Contracting Officer (90CSC), 1900 East Main Street, Danville, IL 61832. No telephone requests will be accepted. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at the URL address. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
