Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Metropolitan Detention Center(MDC)Guaynabo , Puerto Rico, intends to make a multiple award to a qualified small business to provide Protestant Chaplain Services. The contract type shall be a requirements, firm fixed price contract. The estimated quantity is 212 sessions per year. One session equal 1-1/2 hours per session. The performance period will include a base year with four (4) one year options. This non-personal service is for the provision of Protestant Chaplain services for the inmate population incarcerated at MDC Guaynabo. The award will be made to the responsible business/individual who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government. The solicitation will be available on or after February 26, 2006, and will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.Fedbizopps.gov/. The site provide downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about March 10, 2006. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) Database. The website is www.ccr.gov. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organization have the right to submit offers equally with others organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This solicitation is 100% set-a-side for small business concerns. The NAICS is 813110 and the Size Standard is 6.5 million dollars.
