- In accordance with the Revised Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-76, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is publicly announcing the start of a Streamlined Competition for Infrastructure and Hosting Operations, Technology Management Group, Office of Information Services. The Competitive Sourcing Official (CSO) is Karen O'Steen. The Agency Tender Official is James Weber. The Contracting Officer is Robyn Salawitch. Infrastructure and Hosting Operations manages and directs the Contractor operated CMS Enterprise Data Center (EDC) and the more traditional Agency Data Center operations at the CMS Headquarters providing world-class hosting services and existing CMS mission-critical applications of CMS business owners. These services are currently provided by fifteen (15) Federal government employees. CMS will issue another notice to announce the decision of the cost comparisons on or before May 18, 2006.
