- This amendment is issued to re-open solicitation and to re-establish closing date to 02/14/06, 2:00 PM EST to add the following: A site visit is scheduled 13-Feb-2006 at 10:00 a.m, Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Building 234, 1st Floor, Sheet Metal Shop, Portsmouth, VA All prospective offerors are urged to attend. Offerors are requested to submit any questions they may have in writing to Tina Barnes, Code 532.2F. Fax to Tina Barnes @ 757-396-8503 or email to: tina.barnes@navy.mil no later than 12:00 noon 09-Feb-2006. Each company is restricted to two (2) attendees. Failure of a prospective offeror to submit any questions or attend the site visit shall be construed to mean that the offeror fully understands all requirements of this solicitation/Request for Quote (RFQ). Contractors should provide on company letterhead full name, attendee’s social security number, date of birth, and place of birth. Attendees must be a U.S. citizen. If an amendment to the solicitation is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgement and receipt of any such amendment shall be applicable. If no event will failure to attend the site-visit constitute grounds for claim after award. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (07-FEB-2006).
