- Description
- Purchase of Twin Engine Turboprop Aircraft The Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System (JPATS) intends to award a commercial, firm-fixed price (FFP) contract to acquire one (1) each twin engine turboprop aircraft, 56 passenger or greater, to perform a recently expanded Caribbean mission. A performance specification with minimum and desired requirements will be provided with the resulting solicitation. The government’s required delivery date for the aircraft is 17 Nov 2005, with final inspection/acceptance at the JPATS’ hangar facility in Oklahoma City OK. The procurement will be unrestricted under full and open competition. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 441229. Request for Proposal (RFP) No. DJMS-05-R-0022 will be available on Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) on or about 08 Jul 2005, with a period of 15 days allotted for comments and questions and proposals due thirty days from the issue date of the RFP. The RFP will be posted in its entirety at the FedBizOpps website. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued and no electronic proposal submissions will be accepted. All proposals from responsible sources shall be considered. NOTE: Contractors proposing on the solicitation must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for award or payment for any delivery orders issued. The CCR database may be accessed via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (16-AUG-2005).
