This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number N68836-06-T-0056 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the lastest edition of the Federal Acquisition Circular. This solicitation is issued on an Total Small Business Set-A-Side basis (see Numbered Note 1), NAICS Code 562998; ANNUAL GREASETRAP MAINTENANCE SERVICE CONTRACT: LOCATION: NAVAL AIR STATION, JACKSONVILLE, FL 32212 TO INCLUDE ELEVEN (11) GREASETRAPS AND FOURTEEN (14) PUMPING STATIONS IN EIGHT (8) BUILDINGS: BLDG 10, 30, 110, 409, 609, 798, 808, 855 STATEMENT OF WORK Annual Greasetrap Maintenance Service Contract Provide product, materials and service for greasetrap piping maintenance on Naval Air Station Jacksonville Florida. Product shall be non-flammable, non-toxic and biodegradable. Product shall be effective in reducing odors from greasetraps and preventing clogs in the pipes leading into and out of greasetraps. Materials shall include all pumps, hoses and associated equipment necessary to introduce the product into specified greasetraps and pipes. Service shall include inspection, repair and replacement of such pumps and equipment, and changeover of empty product containers to full product containers as often as necessary to ensure continuous introduction of product to specified areas. Service shall also include transportation of full containers to specified sites and removal of all empty product containers from those sites. This contract shall cover 14 pumps and associated piping to regularly pump the selected product into the greasetrap pipelines. The pumping mechanism shall include some type of metering device to regulate the amount of product pumped and the times for the product to be pumped. Pumping of the product into the lines will not be continual, but will take place at pre-set times seven days a week, 24 hours per day. Service requirements are based on a service technician regularly checking the pumps and meters, and repairing or replacing based on operability. Service requirements also include regularly changing out empty product containers for full containers and removing the empty containers. Frequency of service visits will be dependent upon metering device settings, but shall not be less than once per month per pumping station. This contract will include fourteen (14) pumping stations in eight (8) buildings on Naval Air Station Jacksonville Florida. The eight buildings are 10, 30, 110, 409, 609, 798, 808 and 855.
