- This is a pre-solicitation notice. The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound (FISC,PS) has a requirement to procure 1 each of SSN 21 class propulsion shaft Forward Sleeve, Aft Sleeve, and Ground Device Sleeve. Forward and Aft Sleeve to include chemical and mechanical properties certification, weldability test, liquid penetrant test, radiographic test report, and material certification for metalagraphic analysis. Ground Device Sleeve to include chemical and mechanical properties certification, weldability test, and liquid penetrant test. This is a noncommercial firm fixed priced procurement under FAR part 15. The Government requires an FOB Destination to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA no later than ******July 14, 2006******. This requirement will be evaluated on a best value basis. Copies of MIL/FED specs, QPL, may be obtained from the ASSIST database on the Internet at http://assist.daps.dla.mil/online/start/. The referenced solicitation and any subsequent amendments is estimated to be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil on March 01, 2006. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments.
