- The Department of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office, has a requirement for the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of Yuma Desalting Plant (YDP), WQIC Research Facility; and The Analytical Laboratory located at 7301Calle Agua Salada, Yuma, Arizona. The Yuma Area Office would like to invite prospective offerors for a one day Presolicitation Meeting/Site Visit on February 28, 2006 beginning at 8:00 a.m. and concluding by 5:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of our Mission Statement, and to allow industry the opportunity to review and comment on the Draft Statement of Work (SOW). This notice is not a request for proposal and the information presented in this announcement will not obligate the Government in any manner. A determination on the solicitation method has not been made at this time. The Government will distribute and discuss the SOW at the meeting. Interested parties will have two weeks after the site visit to provide comments on the draft SOW and any other comments deemed pertinent to the pending solicitation. Offerors are invited to contact Ms. Virginia Toledo via e-mail at vtoledo@lc.usbr.gov to confirm their attendance and to request a copy of the draft SOW and meeting agenda. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the O&M of the YDP is 561210 Facilities Support Services and the related small business size standard in millions of dollars is $32.5; and the NAICS code for the WQIC Research Facility and Analytical Laboratory is 541380 Testing Laboratories and the related small business size standard in million of dollars is $11.0.
