- The U.S. Army Medical Information Technology Center (USAMITC) and the U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to award a contract to First Consulting Group, Inc. for Deployment and Training Integration and Assessment Support for the U.S. Army Medical Department (AMEDD) AHLTA Implementation and Clinical Integration Office. This procurement is in accordance with the provisions of FAR 6.302-1. There are no other firms which possess this level of AMEDD AHLTA expertise. An atte mpt to contract to another source would result in an undesirable delay and significant risk in providing critically needed services to the government.
