- The Equal Diagnostics Homocysteine reagent was tested and validated on the Roche P Modular instrument and has been in clinical use since the implementation of the P. Module. Extensive patient normal range studies were conducted with the medical staf f who employ established homocysteine clinical cutoffs in diagnosis and daily patient management. The Chemistry laboratory has accumulated over two years of College of American Pathologist proficiency survey/performance data documenting the accuracy and r eliability of the homocysteine assay. The instrument is also compatible with and interfaced to the CHCS laboratory. As a result only those laboratory vendors with instrument interfaces developed and validated with SAIC will meet government requirements F AR Part 6.302-1(b)(2).
