- This acquisition is for the Development of Windscreen Measurement Capability to modify an existing Portable Hardness Surveillance test System (PHSTS). National Stock Number (NSN) 6635NCF182369, Part number PHSTS-01. This equipment has never been purchased and will require first article testing before equipment is accepted by the government. The Windscreen Measurement System (WMS) will enhance the Portable Hardness Surveillance Test System?s (PHSTS) capabilities to include windscreen testing. This system will incorporate government furnished equipment (GFE) that is part of the PHSTS inventory, new equipment and a copy of existing windscreen testing software. The system will be integrated into one or two transport containers and delivered in a modular portable configuration. This enhanced capability will allow for the assessment of windscreen survivability. This requirement is considered restricted to the only known source: EG&G Technical Services, INC (CAGE: 29674). There are qualification requirements applicable to this part. This requirement is not considered commercial. The RFQ is scheduled to be completed and posted an estimated 15 days from the date of this announcement. You may check back on this website to download a copy at that time.
