- Western Area Power Administration intends to acquire, on a sole source basis, helicopter services to lift towers into place on the Groton-Summit 115-kV transmission line on Rush Lake in Day County, South Dakota. Western believes Erickson Air Crane Inc is the only known source that has the expertise to provide this service. Anticipated award is Feburary 20, 2006. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirements by e-mailing the Contract Specialist or faxing the Contract Specialist at 605-353-9213. Capability statements must include documentation ability to satisfy the Government's requirements.
