- This information is for solicitation SP0100-06-Q-4088. The item is Cap, Garrison, Men?s, Ply/Ctn, Khaki #3729. The applicable NSN for this procurement is 8405-00-297-4023(s). The Military Specification is MIL-C-17614F (NU) dated August 14, 1987. The cap, garrison, khaki #3729 shall be made in accordance with Type II, Class 5 of MIL-C-17614F (NU) dated August 14, 1987. The purchase quantity is for a Minimum of 3,103 each and a Maximum of 5,172 each. This procurement will consist of a Base Year and Two (2) One (1) Year Term Options. RFID Tags apply for this acquisition. It is the Government?s intent to spread the quantity over three (3) deliveries for the first delivery order. The first delivery is due 120 days after the date of the award and 90 days for subsequent deliveries. FOB Destination ? New Cumberland, PA (W25G1U) is required. The solicitation will be issued as a Total Small Business Set Aside that will result in a firm fixed price contract. This is a Best Value Acquisition with Source Selection Procedures. The following factors will be utilized in descending order of importance: (1) Product Demonstration Model (PDM) and (2) Past Performance/ Experience. All materials used in the fabrication of the end item are to be furnished by the contractor. The Government does not intend to use FAR Part 12 for this acquisition.
