- Description
- All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 35 NSNs with various item descriptions and end items. The major FSCs of this requirement are: 1005, 1095, 2520, 2530, 2540, 2590, 2805, 2815, 2910, 2920, 2940, 2990, 3040, and 4820. The requirement will result in the award of an Indefinite Delivery Type Contract for which Delivery Orders may be placed for one year. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. See Note(s): 9 and 26. The solicitation will be available in FedbizOpps on it issue date of March 6, 2006. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. Drawings/specifications will be available through the DIBBS solicitation link in the synopsis on the solicitation issue date. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not posses complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1).While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This is an unrestricted procurement with other than full and open competition.
