- Description
- The Fleet Industrial and Supply Center, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, Washington, intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed Price supply contract for direct replacements of Lens, Cartridge, Mine Safety Respirators. This is a pre-solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12, and 13.5. The announcement number is N00406-06-T-0449. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 33314 with a small business standard size of 500 employees. The Government requires 570 units of Respirator, Len Cartridges, MSA. This requirement is sole sourced to MSA dealer(s). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government requires supplies be delivered to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA on an FOB Destination, 3 weeks after award of contract. The solicitation for this requirement and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website, http://www.neco.navy.mil. Electronic submission of quotes is available through the NECO website. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from the NECO website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. There will be no hard copy solicitation/amendment mailed of FAXed.
