Description
?This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitation to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Division Crane.? This requirement is for MK 64 MOD 0 Remote Firing Device in accordance with Automated Data List (ADL) 53711-7546763 Revision A and associated drawings to be provided with the solicitation package. The Government requires a quantity of 125 each First Articles and 14,000 each (minimum) and 136,986 (100 ft rolls) each (maximum) of MK64 MOD 0 Remote Firing Device, over a 5-year ordering period. If First Articles are procured, the First Article quantity is due 60 days after contract award. The production quantity is due 105 days after contract award. If First Articles are not procured the production quantity is due 60 days after contract award. Data deliverables are in accordance with 1423?s. Deliveries of additional units will be due every 60 days if continuous production, otherwise the Government will not require more than 6,000 units each within less than 90 days. The Government requires 45 days for both First Article Testing and Lot Acceptance Testing results. The Government will provide the MK 3 MOD 0 Metal Pallet as required. A pre-award safety and security survey will be required prior to award of the contract to ensure contractors comply with the requirements of DFAR 252.223-7002 and 252.223-7003. To be eligible for award contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The solicitation document contains information that has been designated as ?Military Critical Technical Data?. Only businesses that have completed DD Form 2345, and are certified under the Joint Certification Program, are authorized to receive the package. This package will not be restricted. All sources will be considered. Inspection and acceptance at Source. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose offer is the best value to the Government considering past performance and price related factors. The solicitation will be available on or about 8 March 2006 at the following address: http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply/announce.htm. ? No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed?. Interested sources must download from the www site listed.
