- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Ship System Engineering Station, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Treadwell Corporation, 341 Railroad Street, Thomaston, CT for components necessary to upgrade either 7 or 8 Model 6L16 Electrolytic Oxygen Generators used on SSN-688 and SSBN-726 Class Submarines (EOGs), with an option to procure components necessary to upgrade an additional 7 or 8 EOGs. Delivery is expected to start on or about June 2008. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Note 22 applies.
