- The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc on or about February 28, 2006. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued and telephone requests or fax requests for this solicitation will not be accepted. The following is a description of the work to be performed: 1. Replace approximately 750 sf of asphalt roofing 2. Replace approximately 35 sf of deteriorating wood deck 3. Clean, repoint, repaint chimney 4. Replace approximately 41 lf of flashings 5. Repair, refinish approximately 340 sf eaves 6. Replace approximaately 115 lf of gutters 7. Replace approximately 65 lf of downspouts Solicitation number Q1773060998. The National Park Service requires a firm fixed-price construction contract for the furnishing and installation, to include supervision, of the above stated work. Location: building #406 Fort Wadsworth, Staten Island, New York, 10305. The NAICS code for this project is 238160 and the small business size standard is $12 million. Contract duration is 180 days following the notice to proceed. In accordance with far subpart 36.204, the price range for this contract is $25,000-$100,000. This procurement is a request for quotation (rfq) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged and women-owned business enterprises. A site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties on Wednesday March 8th 2006 at 10:30 AM at building #406 Fort Wadsworth, Staten Island, NY 10305.
