- This procurement will be for the supply of parts needed for stainless steel roller chains and upper cap roller tracks of the intake head gates at McNary Dam. The resulting contract will be a Supply Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity Contract fo r a base period from date of award through 30 Sep 06 with one option period from 1 Oct 06 through 30 Sep 07. Each roller chain set of parts consist of roller shafts, pairs of side bars and retaining rings. The contract will require the Government to orde r and the contractor to furnish at least the following stated minimum quantities: Base Period; Roller Shafts 2,250, Side Bars 4,750, Retaining Rings 5,500, and Upper cap assemblies with shims and hardware 4. Option Period; Roller shafts 3,000, Side B ars 6,000, Retaining Rings 6,000, and Upper cap assemblies with shims and hardware 8. In addition, if ordered, the contractor must furnish any additional quantities, not to exceed the following total contract quantities: Base Period; Roller Shafts 3,2 50, Side Bars 6,750, Retaining Rings 7,500, and Upper cap assemblies with shims and hardware 8. Option Period; Roller shafts 4,000, Side Bars 8,000, Retaining Rings 8,000, and Upper cap assemblies with shims and hardware 16. The roller shafts are ap proximately 9 inches long and 1.5 inches in diameter. The side bars are made of stainless steel. The side bars are approximatels 8 ? inches long by 2 ? inches wide and 0.5 inches thick. The stainless steel retaining rings are sized to fit the stainless steel shafts. The upper caps are structural steel fabrications, painted with vinyl paint. Time for completion and delivery FOB destination at McNary Dam, Umatilla County, OR.., of any order issued under this contract is 160 days.
