Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912EQ-06-Q-0002 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement. The associated NAICS code is 333298 with 500 employees . All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes may be submitted in hard copy or electronically, either through regular mail, email, or by facsimile. Regardless of method of delivery, it is the offerors responsibility to ensure receipt of quotes by the time and date stated herein. Contractors shall submit a lump sum quotation to include all charges. The Contractor shall furnish four (4) trailer mounted light towers with the following specifications: Powered by a 4 cycle diesel engine rated at no less than 14 hp @1800 rpm with a 60hz 6kw generator. Tower shall have four (4) 1000 watt metal halide lam ps and have a vertical height of no less than 28 feet. The trailer shall be fully equipped (DOT) with towing lights, 2 hitch, 120VAC GFCI receptacle leveling jacks, 30 gallon capacity fuel tank (minimum). The control panel shall have a circuit breaker s witch for each lamp fixture. The complete unit shall have forklift pockets and a lifting eye. Genie Industries Model TML-4000 or TML-4000N meets and exceeds specifications. This is the recommended model, however comparable models that meet specification s will be considered. Contractor shall submit completed clause 52.212-3, Offerors Representation and Certifications, Commercial Items.
