Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking potential sources to provide four (4) each a Tarn-Pure TM Copper Silver Ionization Water Purification Systems or equal for the Carl T Hayden VA Medical Center, 650 E Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ 85012-1892. The Tarn-Pure TM trademark process of copper silver ionization systems were first introduced and installed in hospitals in the United States in the late 1980s as a control for Legionella and other waterborne pathogens. If potential sources seek to present other systems as equal to the Tarn-Pure TM system when the solicitation is posted they must be able to provide 1) documentation of at least three (3) previous installations on hospital hot water systems which deliver hot water throughout the building, 2) documentation of results (copper-silver levels and Legionella cultures) for a minimum of six months for each installation , and 3) material specifications of equal to or great quality for all parts and equipment. The NAICS code for this requirement is 221310. Size standard is $6.0M. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Responses to this notice should include the following: name and address of company; business size (large or small); identify whether or not company falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories: 8(a), HUBZone, or Service Disabled Veteran-Owned; company experience providing these Tarn-Pure _ Copper Silver Ionization Water Purification Systems or equal to hospitals; and any other pertinent information which demonstrates firms ability to meet the above requirement.
