- Description
- The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supervision, and equipment to convert two rooms into a microbiology lab located at the USDA, ARS, Beltsville, Maryland in accordance with the Statement of Work, drawings, and specifications. All work is to be completed within 60 calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Magnitude of project is between $25,000 and 100,000. A site visit is scheduled for March 8, 2006, at 9:00.a.m, meeting in front of Bldg 201, BARC-East in Beltsville, Md. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238990 and the annual size standard is 12.0 million. This acquisition will be procured as an unrestricted procurement, under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) number DSM62032, using procedures from FAR Part 13 ---Simplified Acquisitions Procedures, and incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-08. The solicitation is scheduled for issuance on or about February 28, 2006. The solicitation will be posted in FedBizOpps website at www.fedbizopps.gov. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to check the website for the solicitation, as well as any amendments that may arise. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Quotations will be due March 30, 2006. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits a quotation that is most advantageous to the Government. Anticipated award date is April 6, 2006.
