- The purpose of this pre-solicitation notice is to synopsize a proposed contract action as follows: The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), through its East and Central Africa's Regional Acquisition and Assistance Office (ECA/RAAO), intends to seek proposals from qualified firms interested in providing the USAID Democratic Republic of Congo Mission (USAID/DRC) with Air Transportation Support Services. The full Request for Proposals (RFP) notice is estimated to be released on or about March 2, 2006 and the proposed solicitation number is RFP No. 623-P-06-017. It is also estimated that the resultant contract award date will be on or about June 01, 2006. USAID anticipates awarding a two (2) year contract for the USAID/DRC Air Transportation Support Program, with two one year options to extend the contract, resulting to an estimated four year contract including options years, if exercised. Subject to the availability of funds, USAID estimates approximately an annual total cost of $2,000,000 to be allocated under the air transportation support program. USAID reserves the right to fund or make any other changes in this regard.
