- The 102 Fighter Wing / MSC, Massachusetts Air National Guard, 197 Granville Ave, Box 8, Otis ANGB, Ma 02542 PRE-The 102 Fighter Wing / MSC, Massachusetts Air National Guard, 197 Granville Ave, Box 8, Otis ANGB, Ma 02542 PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE Approximate Solicitation Issue Date is 17 February 2006 The US government anticipates issuing a Request for Quote for a 12 month period of performance with an award date not later than 1 April 2006. This requirement is for ENVIRONMENTAL SAMPLING, AND LABORATORY ANALYSIS to include the following core tasks to be performed by the contractor as follows: Contractor shall furnish all necessary plant, labor, equipment, transportation and materials as required to obtain samples from groundwater monitoring wells, analyze these samples, and perform additional laborator y analysis of other various type samples on a schedule as stated herein and for the characteristics indicated utilizing Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Massachusetts State approved methods. This service contract shall be accomplished in two parts . Part I, shall consist of taking samples from four (4) existing groundwater monitoring wells located at the wastewater infiltration beds. These samples shall then be analyzed by a Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MA DEP) and EPA cer tified laboratory for the parameters indicated herein after. Part II of this service contract shall consist of providing analytical services by a Massachusetts DEP certified laboratory for all other samples submitted by government personnel on a schedule as herein after specified. Contractor shall provide all the services specified. All samples taken by contractors personnel and all samples taken by government personnel shall be delivered to the laboratory for professional analysis by contractors perso nnel or by other means as arranged by the contractor in mutual agreement with the commander. Sampling protocol and other requirements are indicated in section 2. Analytical requirements are identified in Section 3. All sampling of groundwater shall be ac complished MA DEP regulations. Type and number of samples to be obtained shall be determined by the laboratory to meet the analytical requirements specified herein. This acquisition will be conducted using commercial simplified acquisition procedures found in FAR Part 12 and 13. No solicitation is available at this time.
