Description
The Federal Aviation Administration, Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center has a competitive, furniture requirement for approximately 173 workstations for the Logistics Center. The workstations will be located in the Logistics Support Facility (002-WSE) Unit "C", located at 6500 S. MacArthur Blvd, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73125. New furnishings for approximately 40,000 SF of office space will be required. Requirements include, but are not limited to panel-hung powered systems furniture workstations, companion freestanding modular furniture, and other typical office furnishings. All workstations will be required to accommodate a computer with monitor, have sufficient task lighting, contain ample storage and work surface space. The new workstations are all complete workstations; no existing components will be incorporated into the new workstations. An overall Concept Plan and FAA Typicals are included with the Screening Information Request. All dimensions, shapes, etc, are illustrated to describe the range of workstations and components that the government may purchase. Specific orders will be placed for those items required to meet the actual needs of the project. The project will be constructed in phases. Successful vendors should be prepared to install furniture in conjunction with the construction completion for each phase. Each phase's installation will include separate installation(s) for panels and for components. For each phase the offeror will be required to install panels and power/data components for connection by the FAA, then return to complete the component installation. All interested sources should first attempt to download the solicitation from the Internet. If downloading is not possible, all requests for the solicitation must be in writing (FAX number 405-954-3030) or via the Internet at sandra.fink@faa.gov. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the agency. Requests should be submitted to the attention of Sandra M. Fink and reference the Solicitation Number DTFAAC-06-R-00003. NOTE: If you have difficulty downloading the Solicitation and/or attachments, you need to be using Internet Explorer 4.0 version or newer or Netscape Navigator 6. Older versions of Netscape Navigator will not open the attachments. The following notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
