- Description
- This is a Performance Based Service contract for establishment of food plots, food plot mowing, and road mowing on the Sam Houston National Forest in Montgomery,San Jacinto and Walker Counties, Texas. This will be an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract with a base year period from date of award through September 2006, and four one-year option periods. Quotes will be evaluated based upon: Past performance(Similar projects for past three years), Technical Capability(Personnel qualifications, equipment and expertise), Safety Plan (OSHA Standards and MUTCD) and Traffic Control Plan. Price will be evaluated and not rated or ranked. Technical and past performance, when combined, are equal to cost of price when compared to price. Contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on February 21, 2006 at the District office located at 394 FM 1375 West in New Waverly, TX. The purpose of the meeting is to: (1) review the requirements of performance-based service contract type of contracting, (2) discuss the format for submitting quote, and (3) discuss the evaluation process for award. Contractors are strongly urged to attend this meeting. This RFQ will be available for download on this site on or about February 14, 2006. No hard copies will be mailed out.
