Description
Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound intends to procure Oily Waste Water Treatment System (to include, enclosure, tanks, and equipment) in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF). The solicitation will be issued under full and open competitive procedures IAW FAR Part 15. The period of performance is for a base year and four one-year option periods. The resulting award will be a firm, fixed priced, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type supply contract. Delivery will be to PSNS & IMF – Bremerton WA. The solicitation will be issued on or about 20 June 2005 with a 30 day closing. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 15 procedures utilizing Best Value evaluation criteria. When issued, the RFP will be electronically posted via the NECO website at www.neco.navy.mil. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. An email request to may.carkeek@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFP/amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in submitted quotes must: 1) complete the pricing, 2) complete all representations and certifications found in the solicitation, 3) provide manufacturer information of proposed items, and 4) ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov). NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (13-JUN-2005).
