- The Bureau of Land Management New Mexico State Office is seeking information on space-saving filing systems in preparation for an upcoming move from the current location. Note: The new building nor its physical attributes are not yet available. The records inventory for the BLM New Mexico State Office varies from index cards to letter and legal size papers to plat and quad maps. Some records require locking storage while others do not. Although there is no established square footage alloted for records in the upcoming new building, space is very limited. Anticipated average ceiling height is 9 to 10 feet. The BLM New Mexico is requesting commercially available information such as pamphlets, brochures, literature, etc., on units that may be considered in developing the requirement for future solicitation. To acquire better understanding and knowledge of the types, sizes, and volume of the current records inventory, an organized site visit is scheduled at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 14, 2006. Interested parties are encouraged to attend this site tour. Participants will meet at the BLM/FS building lobby located at 1474 Rodeo Road, Santa Fe, New Mexico 87505.
