Description

Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This Solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Solicitation Number is W15P7T-06-Q-F008. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The United States Army Communications- Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (CE-LCMC) intends to procure one-hundred-seventy eight (178), Starter, Electric, NSN: 2920-01-501-5552, P/N MP-031; a part of the 5KW Auxiliary Power Unit (APU). This acquisit ion results in a Firm Fixed Price purchase order. This is a Sole-Source acquisition to Parts R Parts, Inc., as the Government does not possess the detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of these items. However, all responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Offerors must propose a unit price for a quantity of (178) of the Starter, Electric, NSN: 2920-01-501-5552, P/N MP-031. There are no options. Inspection and Acceptance will be at Source, and FOB is Destination. Delivery for all (178) items shall be delivered as follows: 20 to be delivered 60 days after contract award; 30 to be delivered 90 days after contract award; 30 to be delivered 120 days after contract award; and 98 to be delivered 150 days after award of contract. Early delivery will be accepted and is encouraged at no additional cost to the Government. The items are to be shipped to: XU Transportation Officer, DDSP New Cumberland Facility 1, Building Mission Door 113 134, New Cumberl and, PA 17070-5001. Packaging/Packing shall be: LCP = COMMERCIAL, PKG REF = ASTM D 3951, LPK = COMMERICAL, QUP = 001. Army Working Capital Funds (AWCF) will be used.
