Description: By way of this notice, and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Army Field Support Command announces its intention to negotiate on a sole source basis with Nation Ford Chemical Company, 2300 Banks Street, Fort Mill, SC 29716 for 17,100 lbs of vi olet dye which is a component of the M18 Smoke Grenades. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Expected deliv ery is February 2007. This notice is being posted for sub-contracting opportunities only and is NOT a Request for Proposals and NO solicitation documents will be issued.
