- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) plans to award a sole source purchase order to the American Association of State Highway and Transportation (AASHTO) for the FHWA annual membership fee for calendar year 2006. FHWA has been partners with AASHTO for several decades. The annual membership covers a blanket membership for an unlimited number of FHWA employees who participate in the AASHTO meetings throughout the year. This membership enables FHWA and AASHTO to exchange ideas from a Federal and State perspective as well as discuss a variety of issues and matters related to highway transportation. Because AASHTO is the only source available to acquire this membership, no other known source is available. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the award date is on or about February 24, 2006.
