Description
Project generally consists of, but is not limited to the following: 1.Furnish competent surveying resources to properly layout the subject sites and provide horizontal and vertical control. 2.Obtain a NPDES General Permit for Storm Water Discharges from Construction Sites from the State of Nebraska. 3.Perform site preparation for the Glide Slope (GS), the PAPI, and MALSR sites including: ? Required grading and earthwork ? Furnish and install reinforced concrete foundation for the GS antenna tower and shelter foundation, power/control (P/C) foundation for the P/C rack and light housing assemblies (LHA's) at PAPI site, threshold bar, light stations and equipment shelter at MALSR site ? Furnish and install Earth Electrode System (EES) at each site. ? Coordinate with the utility company to install primary power to the site in existing duct and install conduit and secondary power cables between the transformer and shelter at GS and MALSR sites. ? Furnish and install conduit and cabling between the antenna tower and the equipment shelter at GS site and the LHA's, P/C rack and the GS power rack at the PAPI site. 4.Glide Slope (GS) site: ? Install equipment shelter. ? Furnish and install reinforced concrete access road. ? Furnish and install aggregate surfacing for the shelter plot. 5.PAPI site: ? Furnish and install all aggregate surfacing for the shelter plot. ? Remove existing VASI equipment and restore the sites after commissioning of the PAPI. 6.MALSR site: ? Furnish and install MG-20/30/40 equipment and towers for MALSR light stations. ? Furnish and install handholds, cabling between equipment shelter and each light station in 2" and 3" galvanized steel armored HDPE duct and GRSC where shown. ? Furnish and install overhead power and control cables over Winters Creek. ? Furnish and install reinforced concrete access roads, aggregate access roads and surfacing for the plots, and prefabricated concrete bridge over Winters Creek. ? Furnish and install barbed wire fencing and gates around light stations and gate in existing airport security fence. ? Remove existing REIL equipment and restore the sites after commissioning of the MALSR. 7. Accomplish other incidental duties to accommodate site peculiar conditions. Implement and maintain a quality control plan to ensure contract compliance. Conduct all required tests and checks to verify contract compliance. Project performance time: 120 days.
