- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5) to determine the capability of potential sources and the availability of commercial sources pursuant to FAR Part 10. This notice is issued by the Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command Atlantic, Norfolk, VA to identify sources capable of providing air traffic controller services between the hours of 0700 to 2200, 7 days per week to be performed at Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City, NC for a base plus four option years, not to exceed 60 months, if exercised by the Government, beginning on or about 1 August 2006. A solicitation will be issued shortly and will be synopsized on the Fed Biz Opps Electronic Posting System at www.fbo.gov. When issued the solicitation will appear on the MLCLANT Intranet Web site http://www.uscg.mil/mlclant/fdiv/fdiv.html. It is the potential offer?s responsibility to monitor these avenues for release of any future solicitation or synopsis. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, required equipment, supplies and services necessary to perform the service requirement at Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City, NC location, consisting of four (4) controllers currently providing daily service for 4 HC-130 Hercules and 5 HH-60 Jayhawk helicopters assigned to the air station. All required licenses and or certification required for the State of Virginia must be identified with the response to the sources sought, along with any other required information (i.e., FAA, etc.). The applicable NAICS Code is 48811 - Air Traffic Control Services (except military) with a size standard of $6.0 million. The government reserves the right to consider a small business, 8(a) or any other set aside arrangement as deemed appropriated for this procurement.
