This amendment to the combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Delivered Base Gravel, is issued to provide the required authority for disaster or emergency assistance activities. Under the authority of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 5121, et seq.), in this Request For Quotation preference shall be given, to the extent feasible and practical, to those organizations, firms and individuals residing or doing business primarily in the area affected by such major disaster or emergency. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (08-FEB-2006); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
