- The Social Security Administration intends to negotiate a sole-source modification to an existing contract SS00-04-60013 with Waste Management, Inc to increase the scope of the contract for Waste Removal at the SSA Main Campus in Baltimore, MD by: (1) adding Line Item A.3.H - a requirement to provide an additional 8 CY dumpster, with daily pickup, and (2) increasing the estimated quantity of Item A.3.G - a requirement to provide a dumpster for unscheduled pickups from 175 pickups to 422 pickups for the current contract year. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
