Broad Agency Announcement in Support of the Technical Support Working Group BAA NUMBER: 06-Q-5569 DUE: 6 March 2006 POC: Contracting Officer at 06-Q-5569Questions@tswg.gov DESC: The Technical Support Working Group (TSWG), Arlington, VA, is soliciting concepts for innovative research and development projects. The mission areas are: Explosives Detection (ED), Physical Security (PS), and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Countermeasures (CBRNC). The Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) package and instructions will be available only from the BAA Information Systems (BIDS) website at http://www.bids.tswg.gov. The BAA process constitutes a solicitation of concepts from those Offerors capable of satisfying the Government's needs. The Government encourages non-profit organizations, educational institutions, small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, government laboratories, Historically Black Colleges/Universities and Minority Institutions (HBCU/MIs), and foreign contractors, as well as large businesses, to submit research concepts for consideration. The BAA selection process will be conducted in two (2) phases. The package describes the full process for submission and evaluation as well as specific requirements for the mission areas.
