- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While is it understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopses and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCDD), intends to purchase on a sole source manufacturer basis one (1) HP 8757E Scalar Network Analyzer; and one (1) HP 83620A-001-008 Synthesized Sweeper with a step attenuator and a 1 Hz Frequency Resolution. NSWCDD also intends to purchase on a brand name or equal basis two (2) ETS Lindgren 3117 Double Ridge Wave Guide Antennas. All items shall be delivered, inspected, and accepted FOB destination to NSWCDD, Dahlgren, VA. Award is anticipated by 15 February 2006. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR 13) by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. The NAICS Code is 334515 and the Federal Supply Code is 6640. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The closing date is 10 February 2006 at 2pm. Responses should reference Request For Quotation No. N00178-06-Q-3011.
