- This is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations. No plans or Specs will be issued. Notice of Intent to award a sole source Blanket Purchase Agreement to Dr. James K. Mitchell, Consulting Engineer, for the Corps of Engineers Technical E xpert, Success Dam Seismic Remediation Project, Lake Success, Tule River, near the city of Porterville, Tulare County, California. Key components of this work include assistance from recognized experts in the areas of geotechnical and/or structural engine ering, dam engineering, earthquake engineering, and earthquake remediation. The Corps will form an Advisory Panel of experts (Panel) to assist during studies, foundation explorations and characterization, dam design, and construction of the replacement Su ccess dam. The period of performance for this Contract will have a contract Period of Performance is 5 years from date of award. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is within the discretion of the Government. All respo nses are due to US Army Engineering District, Sacramento Office, Attention: Marsha Sells, 1325 J Street, Sacramento, CA 95814, not later than ,23 February 2006. This action will be conducted under FSC Code R425, SIC Code 8711, NAICS Code 541330. The siz e standard is $4,000,000.00.
