Description
CONTACT Thomas A. Egizi, AMSEL-LC-CCS-G-GN, (732) 427-3296. This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for NEW, Starter Engine, NSN 2925-14-497-4269, P/N 19883-63010 and NEW, Injection Control, NSN 1915-01-494-3004, P/N 16006-51010, curren t source for these units is KUBOTA TRACTOR Corp. (KTC), Cage 0XWR1. The Starter Engine and Injection Control are part of the 10 KW APU. Detailed technical data for the manufactures or acceptance of these units is not available from the Army. Suppliers cap able of furnishing these units must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-G-GN, Building 1200W, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. The response should include production lead time, production capacity by month, surge capacity, numb er of years part will be available, ranges for price breaks if applicable, part number & manufacturer (CAGE) of proposed parts, or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the parts. The response should also include d ocumentation such as copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with these units from the supplier listed above. The Government wi ll also consider these units from other manufacturers that have the same form, fit, and function as the required part. Alternate these units would have to pass extensive performance and qualification testing to ensure the parts meet the Militarys require ments, the cost and time of which would be considered in the acquisition decision. The successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
