- The project consists essentially of, but is not limited to, demolishing approximately 23,000 sf of existing wallpaper and furnishing and installing approximately 23,000 sf of Duroplex, or approved equal wall coating at Bldg 800 on Dover Air Force Base, Delaware. (1) Successful contractor will install 1 color fissured textured acrylic wall coating per manufacturers recommendations. Contractor shall identify the specific type of material they propose to utilize for the project, i.e., Duroplex, or approved equal, with their proposal. The offeror must be a qualified applicator of the paint application at the time of submission of initial offer. The offeror shall submit a photocopy of factory training certificate as proof of applicator qualification with proposal. This project will be divided into 3 phases, with the contractor being given one floor at a time to complete. The performance period is sixty (60) calendar days. (2) The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 238320 with a size standard of $13 million dollars. The approximate issue date will be 23 February 2006 with an approximate response date of 23 March 2006. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal and is issued on an unrestricted basis. (3) All responsive offers will be considered by the agency. Interested offerors must ensure they are registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive award of a contract. Information to register can be found on the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov/ or telephone 1-888-227-2423. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal on this solicitation must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE Code). The project magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. (4) The entire solicitation, including the specifications, will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Web Site at http://www.fbo.gov. The solicitation can be accessed by following the links on the FBO website to: Department of the Air Force (USAF), Offices, Air Mobility Command, 436 CONS. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents.
