- Description
- Project generally consists of, but is not limited to the following: 1. Grading and earthwork for installation of the Mark 1F Capture Effect Glide Slope (GS) Facility 2. Furnish competent surveying resources for layout of associated sites and provide horizontal and vertical control. 3. Strip the Grading Area topsoil and stockpile on site for reuse. 4. Grade to within 6" of design elevation, including restored topsoil per construction drawings. 5. Confirm compaction requirements with geotechnical-testing firm. Provide written reports. 6. Confirm finish elevations and limits with licensed surveyor. Provide as-built site drawings. 7. Provide erosion control per construction drawings. 8. Furnish and install aggregate surfacing for the plot 9. Furnish and install reinforced concrete foundations for GS tower and equipment shelter. 10. Install Government furnished GS equipment shelter. 11. Furnish and install enclosures, conduit, wiring, etc. at the GS equipment shelter. 12. Furnish and install Earth Electrode System (EES) for GS Facility. 13. Erect Government furnished antenna tower with ladder, safety-climbing device, furnish and install lightning protection. Install Government furnished antennas on tower. 14. Excavate, trench and install electrical conduits and backfill. 15. Install Government furnished material at facility. 16. Furnish and install electrical hardware as required. 17. Restore all effected and disturbed areas due to construction to grade and appearance as required. Project performance time: 75 days. Estimated cost range: $250,000.00 to $500,000.00.
