Description

The USDA/Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Snow Survey unit needs to purchase between 1,500 and 3,000 gallons of the following mixture by volume: 48.5% Propylene Glycol; 48.5% Denatured Ethanol; 3.0% Tween 20; Dyed Red. This purchase will have a guaranteed minimum of 1,500 gallons with a maximum of 3,000 gallons in up to three deliveries. NRCS owns 4 ea 275 Gallon totes and about 20 ea 55 Gallon Drums, which will be empty and need to be picked up at our warehouse, 463 Perimeter Way, Door 7, Troutdale, OR 97060, filled with the solution and returned. The successful bidder may choose to deliver the product in new or used containers (totes, drums or pails) without picking the empty containers up at our warehouse beforehand, but the containers that USDA/NRCS currently owns will be accepted in trade. Any purchase of additional totes, drums or pails must be pre-approved by the contracting officer and be billed separately, since payment will not be handled under this contract. Because the warehouse is unmanned, prior coordination will need to be made before each pickup and/or delivery to ensure there are employees on site. Prior notice of 24 hours is required for each pickup and/or delivery. The quote will include both the cost of the above listed solution and the pickup/delivery charges, and will be priced per gallon. The successful bidder must be registered in CCR (Central Contractor Registration), be able to provide a DUNS (issued by Dun and Bradstreet) number and EFT information at the time of award.
