- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to overhaul six (6) each Globe Turbochargers, Stock Number 2990-01-363-1644, P/N 22600172-4 (3 each) and Stock Number 2950-01-118-7979, P/N 22602128-2 (3 each), in accordance with current OEM specifications and standards. Only Globe Turbocharger (OEM) replacement parts shall be utilized in the overhaul of these Turbochargers. It is the Government?s belief that only the Original Equipment Manufacturer, and/or their authorized repair facilities, possess the engineering and technical data and capabilities to overhaul these Turbochargers to ensure the proper form, fit, function, and performance of all its components. Therefore it is the Government?s intention to award a fixed-price contract to Globe Turbocharger Specialties or their authorized repair facility. Delivery of overhauled Turbochargers shall be made F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000, 60 calendar days after receipt of Government-Furnished Property. Request for Quotation Number hSCG40-06-Q-60002 shall be available for download from FedBizOpps on or about February 9, 2006. Quotations shall be due by 2:00 PM on February 20, 2006. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which, if timely received, shall be considered by the Agency. Numbered Notes 12 and 22.
