- NOTICE OF INDUSTRY DAY 25 OCT 2005. A Silent Knight Industry Day is planned for Tuesday, 25 Oct 2005 from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Interested parties wishing to attend and/or schedule one-on-one meetings must provide your company name, address, POC name, phone number and email address and company cage code to the Contract Specialist or Contracting Officer not later than 20 Oct 2005. Scheduled one-on-one meetings will be held 27 Oct (and 28 Oct if necessary) and will not exceed two hours per company. Discussions will be at the unclassified level only. This updates the previously synopsized Government intent to issue a request for proposal (RFP)(previously H92222-05-R-0020) under full and open competition procedures for System Development and Demonstration (SDD) of Silent Knight, a multi-aircraft-common terrain following/terrain avoidance (TF/TA) Radar replacement. The planned date for release of the RFP H92222-06-R-0002 is now extended until 3rd quarter FY06 (Apr-Jun 2006) with award expected in 1st quarter FY07 (Oct-Dec 2006). The Silent Knight replacement common radar is intended for use in the MH-47, MH-60, MC-130, and CV-22. The security level of the Silent Knight program is at the Secret level of classification. Potential offerors are required to possess U.S. personnel clearances, cleared facilities, storage and processing capabilities and be existing DoD contractors.
