Description
The FAA, New England Region currently has a requirement for the replacement of the existing Dual Mode High Intensity Approach Lighting System with Sequenced Flashing Lights (ALSF-2/SSALR) to serve runway 4R at Logan International Airport, Boston, MA The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: Construction of a new duct bank alongside R/W 4R, installation to connect the new duct bank to the existing in-pavement light bar foundations, installation of PVC coated rigid conduit on the R/W 4R pier (located in Boston Harbor), fabrication of Government Furnished Low Impact Resistance (LIR) poles and light bars on the R/W 4R pier, installation of high voltage cable to feed all the new light fixtures, installation of Government Furnished transceivers for the in-pavement light fixtures, connection to the existing ALSF Regulator Substation and all associated electrical, mechanical and site work, salvage and demolition of old ALSF Equipment. Performance time is 100 calendar days. Estimated price range is $1,000,000.00 to $3,000,000.00. Payment and performance bonds are required. Solicitation packages will be available on or about February 27, 2006 . There is a $100.00 non-refundable fee required for this solicitation package. All checks must be made payable to the Federal Aviation Administration.
