- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5) to determine the capability of potential sources and the availability of commercial sources pursuant to FAR Part 10. This notice is issued by the Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command Atlantic, Norfolk, VA to identify sources capable of providing wastewater treatment operation services to be performed at Coast Guard Group Eastern Shore, VA for a base plus four option years, not to exceed 60 months, if exercised by the Government, beginning on or about 1 May 2006. A solicitation will be issued shortly and will be synopsized on the Fed Biz Opps Electronic Posting System at www.eps.gov. When issued the solicitation will appear on the MLCLANT Intranet Web site http://www.uscg.mil/mlclant/fdiv/fdiv.html. It is the potential offer?s responsibility to monitor these avenues for release of any future solicitation or synopsis. The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation and supervision necessary to perform the serviced requirements of operation, maintenance, testing, training, monitoring and reporting services for the Wastewater Treatment Facility at CG Group Eastern Shore, VA location, consisting of a 6000 gallon per day Extended Aeration Package Treatment Plant. All required licenses and or certification required for the State of Virginia must be identified with the response to the sources sought, along with any other required information (i.e., chemical). The applicable NAICS Code is 221320 (Sewage Treatment Plants or Facilities Services) with a size standard of $6.0 million. The government reserves the right to consider a small business, 8(a) or any other set aside arrangement as deemed appropriated for this procurement.
