- A non-competitive acquisition is proposed with San Diego Police Equipment Company located in San Diego, CA. This procurement is for the purchase of 11 cases of Red Simunition and 11 cases of Blue Simunition for the Fort Lewis Ammunition Supply Point located on Fort Lewis Washington military facility. Other than full and open competition is based on FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. Responses to this notice will be used to determine whether bona fide competition exists. Responses must be in writing, including prices and information sufficient to determine capability to meet the requirement and must be received by this office within 3 calendar days of publication of this notice no later then 11:00 am on 10 Feb 2006. If no affirmative responses are received within that time, to determine comparable sources more advantageous to the U.S. Government are available, a contract will be negotiated with San Diego Police Equipment Company. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The NAICS is 332992 (SIC 3482).
